1.Visit the Grand Palace
This is probably the most famous attraction in Bangkok. Set in the heart of the capital, this beautiful gold-tipped series of buildings is over 200 years old. Its grandeur is breathtaking!

2. See the Golden Triangle
This is the point where the Mekong River meets the Ruak River and where the countries of Myanmar, Laos and Thailand meet.
3.Go elephant trekking
If you’re going to see elephants in Thailand, then you should do so in their natural environment. The Mahawangchang Elephant Camp is situated about four hours from Bangkok.
4. Have a Thai massage
Thai massages are famous all over the world. The style of massage is unique as it stretches your body as well as working on its pressure points.
5. Shop on Khao San Road
Khao San Road in Bangkok is internationally known as the center of partying. The shops there sell handicrafts, clothes, local fruits, used books, a wide range of fake IDs… This is also where tons of “street food” are sold for astonishingly low prices.

6. Visit a floating market
It’s an incredible sight: canals crowded with rickety wooden boats piled high with colorful local produce. A perfect opportunity for an amazing photo!
7. Take a trip to Koh Phi Phi
This stunning island became popular after the movie “The Beach” and is well-known for its incredible parties and staggering beauty.
8. Eat authentic food
Thai food is simply amazing! To find the authentic, off-the-beaten-path restaurants – simply ask! It can be hard to navigate through all the tourist traps. Ask a local, or an experienced friend, or do some research online.
9. Take a cooking class
Why not learn how to make some of that amazing food? There are cooking classes in almost every city in Thailand and also on the islands. You should probably do some online research to find the best one for you.
10. Go island hopping
Thailand has over 5,000 miles of coastline waiting to be explored. Travel by longtail boat and discover as many beaches and islands as possible.

11.Do a water activity
Crystal blue water is abundant it Thailand so the country offers a range of water activities: deep-water soloing, scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, canoeing… Be careful and enjoy the excitement!
12.Visit the Khao Yai National Park
This park comprises rainforests and grasslands which adds up to the large number of animals you can see. There are about 300 bird species in the park, as well as elephants, gibbons, macaques…
13.Take the Thai-Burma railway
Kanchanaburi province, an area of lush forests, has a dark past. Here, you’ll find the start of the infamous Death Railway and the bridge over the River Kwai. Both are haunting relics from WWII, constructed by prisoners of war.
14.See Wat Arun
Wat Arun is a Buddhist temple named after Aruna, the god of dawn. Its tower is 79 meters tall and covered in colorful porcelain and ceramic tiles. A truly mesmerizing sight!
15.Do something unique
Step out of your comfort zone and enjoy the way of living. Eat a scorpion, get a hair wrap, let a monk tattoo you while visiting a temple, drive a scooter like a local… There are so many things to experience in this country!
