  1. Karim’s

Probably the most famous Mughlai outlet in the entire country, any visit to Delhi is incomplete without a visit to Karim’s. One bite of their kebabs transports you right back to the Mughal era. Tucked away in a little corner in Hauz Khas Village, this place has fast acquired a reputation for having the best burgers in the city. One of Delhi’s only burger bars, it ensures that everything is according to your specification, from choosing your bread to your sauce to your filling. If visiting Fork You, the All American Bacon Burger and Smoked Chicken Burger are must haves. While a bit on the steep side, costing about INR 2200 for two, the quantity and ambiance make it worth it.

One of the famous midnight eateries in Delhi, their North India cuisine is absolutely succulent and mouth watering. Located in Central Delhi, their Naan, Dal Makhani and Tava Ghosht are complete show stealers. Such delectable food cannot be found anywhere else in Delhi.  The cost for two people is about INR 1500.

The legacy of these shops can be seen by the famous portraits, from movie stars to politicians, hung on their walls. After a long walk through the narrow gullies of Chandini Chowk, the dripping with ghee paranthas, will completely satisfy your appetite. Every parantha here is worth trying!

A great place to hangout with friends, Momos point is a favorite for students. Different varieties of momos from friend to gravy make it a must visit. The size of stuffing and pricing also ensure that you leave with your stomach as well as your wallet full! Its about INR 500 for two people.

Starting out as a sweet shop, they have now expanded to a multi cuisine vegetarian restaurant. However, their loyal customer base ensures that their lip smacking sweets remain the highlight. Their Chola Bhaturas are also considered one of the best. A meal for two will cost you around INR 450.

If you’re looking for a luxury dining experience while enjoying the culinary delights of South India, this is the place to go. Dakshin celebrates the seafood delights of India ranging from Kerala to Andhra. The seafood thali is a must try. It’s a little steep on the pocket costing about 3700 for two people.
